 2 Slices of whole-grain bread
 1 Ripe avocado
 1 cup of mixed seasonal fruit (berries, orange slices, apple slices, etc.)
 A handful of mixed greens (spinach, arugula, etc.)
 3 dashes Fresh lemon juice
 1 dash Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
 1 dash Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Toast the Bread

Place the whole-grain bread slices in a toaster and toast them to your preferred level of crispiness.

Prepare the Fruits and Vegetables

While the bread is toasting. Wash all your fruits, vegetables, and greens thoroughly.

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until it reaches a spreadable consistency. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
